Gus Thumb is a very old work, where I tried to explore my room in a different way. I was struggling with the college life, new for me, and my room in the dorm became a place to explore in order to let my imagination free.
This simulacre of Thumbelino was releasing a little part inside me which was fighting for beating the fear and see the world in his own.
This exercise, even though many may think was silly and absurd, helped me discover new ways to look the details around me. It also calmed my mind, amusing myself and avoiding me thinking how far from home I was.
Besides… I learnt a lot of Photoshop.
